How I map client problems to real products—venue booking, logistics sites, POS/ERP, taxi platforms, ecommerce, and AI receptionists—using shipped case studies, not slide decks.
Software Use Cases I Actually Ship: Case Studies, Services, and What “Related Work” Means
Most “industry blogs” list technologies. Buyers do not hire a stack. They hire someone who has already solved a use case that looks like theirs: missed calls, messy bookings, spreadsheet ops, or a brochure site that cannot rank.
This post is the map of my field—AI automation and full-stack product engineering—tied to projects, services, and honest case studies. The company-side archive lives on Tekvers; the personal portfolio is the same body of work from the builder’s side.
What a use case is (and is not)
A use case is a repeatable job-to-be-done:
- A padel club needs court booking + WhatsApp + vendor apps, not “a React Native demo.”
- A UK plumber needs service × town pages that convert to a phone call, not a CMS they will never update.
- A freight forwarder needs a credible brand site and quote path, not a fake tracking SaaS in v1.
- A retailer needs POS + inventory, not a 40-module ERP on day one.
If the first release cannot be described in one sentence of operator language, it is not a use case yet.
The clusters I keep seeing
| Cluster | Typical buyer | Example work | Service to start with | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Multi-tenant booking SaaS | Venue operators | Velay | SaaS developer, service business software | | Local / programmatic SEO | Home services | Punjab AC, AAA Plumbing (Tekvers) | Marketing optimization | | Logistics brand + ops | Forwarders, dispatchers | A.K. Traders, Freights Logistic | Custom software, web | | Transfers & dispatch | Taxi / airport | Airport Transfers Taxi | Workflow automation, AI receptionist | | Commerce stacks | Brands, traders | Strikers Gear, SheStrends, Wingz Impex | Full stack | | POS / ERP cores | Retail, plants | NoblePOS, accounting/ERP APIs | Custom software | | Voice AI + CRM | Phone-first businesses | AI receptionist builds | AI receptionist, CRM | | Web3 product surfaces | Token / DEX teams | DEGN DApp, Arena SOL | AI developer + web |
Related deep dives: venue booking SaaS, programmatic SEO for local services, freight websites, POS vs ERP, taxi booking platforms, custom ecommerce, Web3 sites vs dApps, honest case studies.
How I pick the first slice
- Conversion path — phone, WhatsApp, quote form, or in-app booking?
- System of record — calendar, inventory, CRM, or ledger?
- Honesty about v1 — marketing site vs portal vs API-only backend. Tekvers case studies label scaffolds and brochure sites as such on purpose.
- Related projects — same industry is weaker proof than the same operating model (multi-tenant booking, programmatic pages, double-entry posting).
Services are entry points, not silos
AI receptionist work almost always needs CRM integration and workflow automation. A “web project” for a taxi brand often becomes an operations portal. An ecommerce storefront without admin + stock is a brochure with a cart.
If you are evaluating a partner, ask for the case study that matches the operating model, then the service page that names the deliverables. Browse projects and contact with that sentence: “We need X for Y users, v1 is Z, not a full suite.”
Field, not buzzwords
The field is shipping software that operators will use on Monday. Next.js, NestJS, ASP.NET, Supabase, Vapi, n8n—those are tools. The product is fewer missed bookings, cleaner pipeline, rankable pages, or a ledger that balances.
That is what the rest of this blog series unpacks, cluster by cluster.
